Pricing

Development pricing, without surprises

A small fix, a new app or ongoing help? Pricing depends on the task. I use AI to work faster and reduce the development hours needed. We agree on scope and price before I start.

All prices exclude VAT. I only work with businesses.

Three ways to work together

  • Projects

New websites, apps, platforms and automation with an agreed scope.

    Priced to fit the scope

    • A fixed price for the agreed scope
    • Phases and milestones
    • You own the code from day one
  • Ongoing support

A dedicated developer for maintenance and new development every month.

Fixed monthly price based on your needs

    • Updates and security
    • Time for improvements every month
    • One developer who knows the code
  • Hourly

For smaller tasks, fixes and ongoing work without a fixed scope.

    Agreed in the proposal

    • Bug fixes and smaller features
    • Advice and code reviews
    • Work where the scope keeps changing

AI in development

Faster development. Lower cost.

I use AI throughout development. It saves time on coding and repetitive tasks, helping me keep the price down compared with doing everything without AI. I take responsibility for the solution and review and test the work before delivery.

  • A shorter path from idea to product

AI helps with coding, debugging and repetitive tasks, so I can get to something useful sooner.

  • Fewer development hours

Work that can be done faster takes fewer hours. That is part of how I can keep the price down.

  • Reviewed and tested by me

I make the technical decisions, review the code and test that the solution works. I take responsibility for the finished work.

What drives the price

What makes a project cost more or less?

Two projects that sound alike can cost very different amounts. These are usually the things that make the difference.

  1. 01

    Scope

Number of user types, features and screens. The most effective way to control the price is to trim the first version.

  2. 02

    Integrations

How many systems need connecting, and how good their APIs are.

  3. 03

    Design

Whether the design is made from scratch, or a design or design system already exists.

  4. 04

    Data

Migrating data from old systems and spreadsheets, and how clean that data is.

  5. 05

    Security and compliance

Requirements for personal data, audit logs, access control and documentation.

  6. 06

    Timeline

A hard deadline may mean trimming the scope or planning the work differently.

Fixed price or hourly?

The right model depends on the job

01

Fixed price

For tasks with a clear scope. You know the price up front, and any changes are agreed and priced before they are made.

02

Hourly

When the scope evolves along the way, like ongoing development, bug fixes and advice. You can always see what the time was spent on.

Want a price for your project?

Send me a few lines about the task. You'll get an honest assessment of how I can help and what the next step is.

Tell me what you need

Free and no strings attached. Reply within 1 business day.

Why are prices shown excluding VAT?

Because I only work with businesses. VAT is added on the invoice, and VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim it. For businesses outside Denmark, the usual rules for cross-border B2B services apply.

How do you keep the price down?

I use AI to save time in development. That means fewer hours spent on coding and repetitive tasks than doing everything without AI. I still review and test the solution, and the price depends on the scope.

Can you help with small tasks too?

Yes. It could be a bug fix, a new feature or a task you want automated. Tell me what you need and we'll assess the scope and price.

What if we change the scope along the way?

It happens, and that's fine. Changes are described and priced before they're built, so you always know what they cost and can choose to add them or not.

Can the project be split into phases?

Yes, and I often recommend it. The first phase solves the most important problem and goes into use quickly, and you spread the investment over time.

How does invoicing work?

The payment plan is in the proposal, so you know it before we start. On larger projects it's common to invoice at agreed milestones.

What's included in the price?

The proposal spells it out. As a rule, I recommend keeping hosting, licenses and third-party services in your name, so you own the whole solution.
